Chantal Tramasure grew up in the African Great Lakes region, surrounded by a nature that enthralled her and kept her senses alert. From chaos to order, her creations reflect the motifs of her childhood. The grog (chamotte) and metals contained in her enamels perpetuate this fusion of organic matter from time inmemorial.
