Ubedíes y Olga Nicinska

Pedro Antonio and Jesús Blanco are the sixth generation of esparto artisans and their shop/workshop, Los Ubedíes Artesanía, was founded by Francisco Vera Romero at the end of the 18th century. Pedro Antonio and Jesús work to preserve the traditional and ancient knowledge of esparto grass crafts and adapt to current times seeking new forms, and designs, and applying new technologies to their vast knowledge. This is evidenced by their collaboration with the designer Olga Nicinska.
