Dimitar Stankov

The artist’s Bulgarian roots, with their ancestral rites and holy ceremonies, and the traditional airs of the bagpipes are the very essence of his work. To materialize what is immaterial, Stankov experiments with electroforming, on parts of animals that are used for making musical instruments or costumes.
